Cottinghams hidden gem of a independent tea room with a lovely vintage vibe ..just love everything about it ..you can feel the owners pride in the place and rightly so its fab .. ..a beautiful meeting up place for family and friends with delicious coffee fresh pots of tea and wonderful tasty sandwiches and home made cakes and treats ...highly recommend x
A nice cosy traditional cafe, tea comes in a proper tea pot complete with a teacosy. Personal service. I personally cannot get on with a cup of hot water with a teabag on a string dumped in it. To describe that as a cup of tea is like describing the Haywain as a piece of graffiti.
I love that place. Been there many times. The staff are some of the smiliest people I've seen. The coffees and teas are exquisite. The cakes are delicious. And the simple savoury dishes they serve are really tasty and beautifully presented. Definitely recommended.
