We attended a wedding before New Year and we were really impressed with the beautiful rooms, surroundings and the decor which was helped by the special little touches organised by the bride. The fantastic staff who couldnt do enough for you also made the wedding so enjoyable and we had the best time. The band on the evening, was amazing!! Thank you to all the staff and obviously most importantly the bride, groom and the whole wedding party who made everything fun and beautiful.
Fantastic wedding experience, ceremony was perfect food and service was outstanding guests was not rushed between courses and we was allowed to rest when requested between main and desserts. Staff friendly and approachable, willing to help out with any miner request. Rooms good size and comfortable, didn't feel clostrofobic, able to relax with ease.
Stayed here recently for our daughter's wedding. The rooms are a very high standard, excellent choice for breakfast and friendly helpful staff. The wedding and reception were perfect too. I would definitely recommend. Only downside was that they did run out of some drinks early in the evening.
Naveed and his events manager Lizzie were fantastic in arranging our charity event. 320 guests and the evening went so well. Food was exceptional, loads of staff working and bar serving times were superb. We stayed and our room was fantastic as was the breakfast the next day. We loved it and cant thank the team enough - thank you from Quick and Clarke Estate Agents - you helped us raise so much money for Oncology at Castle Hill and Dove House Hospice.
We stayed here for a wedding at the weekend which was lovely. But my rating relates purely to how cold the whole hotel was. It was hard to feel comfortable when it was so freezing cold even the thermostat in the room didn't change the temperature. If it had of been a nice temperature it would be a lot higher score but even after staff were notified the hotel didn't get any warmer which was a shame. We would not stay here again.
